Álex Vizuete, along with Víctor Aráuz and Katty García, joined the cast of Vivos on Teleamazonas alongside David Reinoso and Flor María Palomeque. In 2017, he was discovered by Catrina Tala, head of production at the Ecuadorian channel TC Televisión, and joined the series Cuatro Cuartos in his first leading role, portraying Brayan Pincay, better known as “El Brayan.” That same year, Álex Vizuete won the Rafael Duani Award at the ITV Awards. In 2018, he was part of the cast of Maleteados on TC Televisión. In 2020, he began his career as a presenter on the comedy program Feik Nius, alongside David Reinoso and Víctor Aráuz. He also launched DeQueVa!, a YouTube program with Víctor Aráuz, where they release weekly entertainment content. In July 2023, he joined the podcast Sorbito de Opinión on the digital channel Suerte TV, considered the most listened-to podcast in Ecuador. He also participated in the programs El Remember and Si Somos on the same platform. He received his first international nomination, winning the award for “Best Actor and Influencer in Latin America” at the 2023 Premios Ícono.
